Robco CARBRA® by
Robco Products – Easy Fitting Instructions
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
THOROUGHLY PRIOR TO FITTING.
Please take your time with the initial fitting of your
Robco CARBRA®. If fitted correctly
the first time the reapplication of your Robco CARBRA®
will be completed quicker when next required.
- HINTS: Place the Robco CARBRA®
in the sun prior to fitting as this will "soften" the
vinyl making it easier to fit.
- Ensure all the surfaces where the Velcro is required
are clean and free of dust, dirt, and oil.
- Ensure the front of your vehicle is clean AND dry prior
to fitting the Robco CARBRA®
Lay the Robco CARBRA® flat
with the felt side facing upwards. You may notice a "pocket"
with Velcro fasteners sewn inside. If you have a "pocket",
this MUST be fitted under the bonnet.
When fitted correctly your Robco CARBRA®
should be free of all major creases. If major creases are
evident, adjust the metal tabs to tighten / loosen the Robco CARBRA®.
NOTE: Re-adjustment of the Robco CARBRA® may be required 2 or 3
times as the Robco CARBRA®
"moulds" to the shape of the vehicle.
Cleaning Instructions: Whilst the Robco CARBRA®
is on the vehicle simply wash the vinyl with warm water
and a mild detergent. To clean the underside (felt side)
of the Robco CARBRA®, remove
it from the vehicle and hang on clothes line. Hose off the
dirt and dust. Dry the vinyl side with a soft cloth. It
is also recommended to hang the Robco CARBRA®
in the sunshine (say, over a clothes line) to allow a good
airing and drying. Ensure the Robco CARBRA®
is COMPLETELY DRY before placing it back into the storage
bag or back onto the vehicle. To keep your Robco CARBRA®
like new, use a vinyl protecting spray.
The Robco CARBRA® is intended
for use as protection against bugs, sand and stone chips
- The Robco CARBRA® is NOT
designed to be left permanently on the vehicle.
- Driving in rain will NOT reduce or affect the performance
of the Robco CARBRA®.
- Do not leave the Robco CARBRA®
on the vehicle to dry on the car surface.
- After fitting the Robco CARBRA®
correctly ensure that there is no movement of the bra.
If movement is evident, adjust the Robco CARBRA®
with the metal tabs to ensure a secure fit. ROBCO will
not be responsible for any damage due to incorrect fitting
of the Robco CARBRA®.
- If your vehicle is brand new or has recently been repaired,
ensure that the paintwork has cured and hardened. Check
with the manufacture or repairer of the vehicle for curing
- Remove the Robco CARBRA®
from your vehicle when not required. Keep the metal tabs
bent and Velcro in place…..ready for the next time.
- Ensure the area of your vehicle where the Robco CARBRA®
is fitted is clean AND dry BEFORE fitting the Robco CARBRA®.
